Kalso Fine Rugs has been recently established not just with a motive to produce and sell carpets and rugs from the himlayan foothills of Nepal, but also with a committed desire to manufacture and market genuine quality carpets and rugs that truly epitomizes true work of Tibetan and Nepali skilled craftsmen and their handicrafts. We sincerely believe that good craftsmanship should be handed down from generation to generation, from father to son to grandson and few schools of art can replicate such heriditary craftmanship. Products make promises, which in many cases are not fulfilled. We do not promise anything - YOU as a buyer can be the judge of our product.

Apart from traditional designs, we have also made a conscious effort to move with the times and have embraced contemporary designs as well. The raw materials we use are strictly local and nothings but natural - Aloe (Nettale), Hemp, Viscose, fine Silk to name a few. The Tibetan and Newzealand wool that we use is hand carded and hand spun, so from the initiation to the final product, each carpet receives the human touch.
